she has some of the most beautiful eyes i’ve ever seen :-)
can i just take a second to point out how black and brown people’s eyes are praised when they’re NOT brown? like that famous picture of the young Afghani girl from back when the Afghanistan invasion was still “new”, and how everyone went all gaga over her eyes. and how it has this underlying sense of “oooh an EXOTIC brown person! more prettier than those others with the regular brown eyes!”
and this is no shade to the OP, she does have some beautiful eyes. just something i’ve noticed.
While I agree with you that lighter eyes are a western beauty standard, I also find so many other reasons to say that this child has beautiful eyes. They are large, wide set, with long lashes. Actually everything about her is just about perfect to me. I’m with BA on the chubby cheeks, also the sweet little chin, button nose, and those lips! I read somewhere something about symmetry being a universal identifier of health/beauty and she has that as well as really nicely proportioned features. You all know you just want to hug her and squeeze her and love her!
